Apple has agreed to pay Nokia for intellectual property used in the iPhone, settling a long-running legal wrangle between the two mobile handset manufacturers.

Under the settlement, Apple will pay an undisclosed one-off sum to Nokia followed by ongoing royalty payments for patents owned by the Finnish firm.
