Operator Overloading:
Adding new behavior to a standard operator for operations involving objects of a user-defined class.
OBJECT BASED LANGUAGE and Object Oriented Language
Object-Based Programming usually refers to objects without inheritance and hence without polymorphism.
A language is object-oriented if and only if it satisfies the following requirements:
- It supports objects that are data abstractions with an interface of named operations and a hidden local state.
- Objects have an associated type.
- Types may inherit attributes from supertypes.
What is the difference between STATIC ANALYSIS and DYNAMIC ANALYSIS?
Static analysis is simplified analysis wherein the effect of an immediate change to a system is calculated without respect to the longer term response of the system to that change. Such analysis typically produces poor correlation to empirical results.
Its opposite, dynamic analysis or dynamic scoring, is an attempt to take into account how the system is likely to respond to the change.
What is the difference between BUFFER OVERFLOW and MEMORY LEAKAGE?
Memory Leakage happens when due to some bug in the program, program is unable to free the memory that is no longer being used that program. This wastage of memory is called memory leakage.
Overflow occurs when a program or process tries to store more data in a buffer/memory (temporary data storage area) than it was intended to hold. Since buffers are created to contain a finite amount of data, the extra information - which has to go somewhere - can overflow into adjacent buffers, corrupting or overwriting the valid data held in them
What is the difference between ENTERPRISE APPLICATION and WEB APPLICATIONS?
Enterprise level software is software which provides business logic support functionality for an enterprise, typically in commercial organizations, which aims to improve the enterprise's productivity and efficiency.
A web application is an application that is accessed via a web browser over a network such as the Internet or an intranet.
What is the difference between MULTI THREADED and CONCURRENCY?[/B]
Threads are a specific example of concurrency.
"Concurrency occurs when two or more execution flows are able to run simultaneously."
Threads are a way for programs to do several different tasks at the same time that is, concurrently.
What is JAR file? What is the object of creating this file?
AR file is a file format based on the popular ZIP file format and is used for aggregating many files into one. A JAR file is essentially a zip file that contains an optional META-INF directory. A JAR file can be created by the command-line jar tool, or by using the java.util.jar API in the Java platform. There is no restriction on the name of a JAR file, it can be any legal file name on a particular platform.
With jar file it is easy to distribute your application , instead of giving some one many files you just send him one jar from which one can run the application.
What is GARBAGE COLLECTOR?
Garbage collection is responsible for freeing up the memory from objects which are no longer needed, in C++ we have to perform the garbage collection manually, Where are in java garbage collector does this task automatically
It is recommended that you place one question in one MBD
