Some of the purposes of Object oriented programming are:
To develop software/ program easily
To keep the code simple
To improved code reusability and maintainability
OOP develops software based on objects and object may be an existing entity or concept in the real world, so in such a way it looks easy for developers and analyst to understand the software requirements and easy to model these requirements as compared to other approach (like structure programming).
We can implement object oriented programming in any object oriented programming language like c++, java, Php, etc
