Motor Vehicle Tax percentage for year 2014-15

The tax has been double today i went to renew my registration for honda Cvic EXI and what i paid last year 5800Rs i was going to ask the Post office guy to take the money and stamp the tickets. He said it is doubled now and the required fee is 11600rs only. I was amazed. Then i took the data from them for the other vehicles which are apply able now.
