One Million Donated To GCU 22 May 2014

A well known industrialist and Old Ravian T. M. Shiekh has donated one million rupees to GCU Endowment Fund Trust (GCU-EFT) for needy and deserving students. T. M. Shiekh presented donation cheque of one million to Prof (Meritorious) Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman Vice Chancellor GCU Lahore in a ceremony. On this occasion GCU-EFT Executive Committee Secretary Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt were also present.






The Vice Chancellor felt great pleasure for the donation and declared that a golden scholarship scheme will be started from it. Deserving and needy students could get the scholarship opportunity on merit basis annually, he said. T. M. Shiekh expressed his views that his alma mater is the reason to pay back by helping other needy students of the university who are unable to pay academic fee and other expenses.
